Master Ivar discovers the gaping hole in my directions:

with his incisive questions:

My directions were for southbound I-35.  For northbound, take the Airport
Blvd exit and go into the far right lane which then continues onto Airport
Blvd.  From there, you'll pass a long block of houses followed by a Capps
van rental (all on your right).  Take the very next right past the Capps
rental place (this is Wilshire).  Go one block and turn left.  We're in the
open tennis courts on your right (as opposed to the snootier, closed tennis
courts on your left).

Aquilanne has never yet kicked me in the head (though she's occasionally
had a look in her eye that says she's *thinking* about it).  

Master Ivar also says:

Uh, if you have smooth seas on I-35, fighter practice will of course be
cancelled.
