one aspect that made this area so attractive to the origional settlers and 
still draws migration is the abundant water resources ... rivers, lakes, 
springs ... these concepts have deep roots to the collective unconscious 
(warning, self is a jungian who had some excellent jesuit teachers ...) so a 
name built on that concept would have real power ... then there's the taoist 
connections (another self-thread) not to mention i like the concept becuase 
of my basic nature (sun/moon piscean).
 
springs are the transition from the great below (realm of the collective 
unconsciousness) into the "mundane" world ... they are life givers, places 
of beginnings, gateways ... and found in *all* period cultures in one form or 
another.
