I suggested that very idea in a letter to the BOD some years ago.
How about taking it one step further, and have the knights in the
principality swear fealty to the Prince, rather than the King? That
was the most radical of my suggestions in the aforementioned letter.
I did not think it would fly then, and I still don't but, as long as
we are throwing around new ideas.
But then again...

True enough, and the second proposal would make it much worse, and I
am not trying to stir up trouble, but I do like stirring up people's
thinking.
