I'm sorry; I don't follow your comment.  Apologies accepted and offered;
I was a bit taken back to think anyone could read into my comments that
I felt the SR or Ansteorra was a "loser."

In following this thread, it appears that there has been a perception
that the principality discussion was formulated and then not told to
various interested parties. I'm pretty new and therefore have abstained
from voting--I don't think I have been around enough to evaluate the
situation completely or to have vested feelings about it one way or
another. I tell you this to let you know that although I lean toward
principality status, it is not something I plan to vote on, although I
will participate in the name stuff and heraldry stuff because I think
it's fun. So I fancy myself relatively neutral, and would like to make
a few comments.

I think it's very unfortunate that folks feel left out of the
discussion. This is not an organized revolt. The reason you didn't hear
about it is that it has yet to have gotten to the point of being
organized, although it's on its way. The discussion sort of snowballed
out of a tangent on the Ansteorra list. If there are any nasty politics
at work, they have not been in evidence here. If anything, folks have
regularly commented on the need to get the word out to folks without
email access.

I can certainly understand feeling blindsided by the whole thing, but it
really hasn't gotten very much past "let's all talk about it." There
are folks who feel passionately about the issue on both sides; as Daniel
said, the point is to come to a consensus, with both sides displaying
courtesy and respect while being forthright about their views.

If that's not possible, the Dream's in danger anyway.
