SR - ATYC - Halfa

Greetings,

On Friday evening, July 9th, I will be sponsoring a Middle Eastern Halfa at 
ATYC.  After discussion with several of the ME community. It was decided that 
this will not be a competition.  We are planning to have a big gathering and 
party.  We will have a large area for the dancing and instrumentalists.  We 
will have ME food and beverages available for participants and guests to 
sample.  What we are trying for is a fun night. For all dancers and 
performers to have a great time.  A chance for everyone to come see what the 
Middle Eastern community is all about.  

I have several coordinators to help with the running of this endeavor.  

Coordinator for the Dancers:

She will be coordinating general group dancing time to Solo and Troupe 
performances. 

Coordinator for the Musicians:

Anyone one wanting to bring goodies contact her. (her job is to make sure we 
don't have 50 lbs of tabuli)

We will need help decorating the pavilion area so we decided to ask the ME 
community for help in this area if you have rugs or wall hangings we would 
love for you to bring them to add the ambiance of the Hafla.  Any thing that 
you think would help make this a great night for everyone.  But most of all 
bring your self and have a good time.
