	That's right, War! 

	Greetings all,

	I know, Gulf Wars isn't for another nine months. That's a long way
off, right? Wrong! In order to be prepared for the next war, we need to
begin preparing now! 

	To that end, I'd like to propose (at least) two Southern Region war
practices. I'm not talking about full blown events with gate guards,
classes, and what not. I'm talking about a regional fighter practice where
all that we do is practice melees. We show up, we practice, we leave, just
like a regular fighter practice. The rapier community has been having great
success with kingdom wide fighter practices just for fun and practice. Well,
I think that it would be great if we could do the same with some war
practices. We need some cohesion and we need to learn how to fight together
as units and as an arm of the Ansteorran army. These practices can help get
us there.

	So, where and when will we have these practices? That hasn't been
determined yet. As for the where, I'm currently talking to the folks in Cryn
ni Tyr (Rockdale) about using their site as it is probably the most
centrally located. As for the when, I'm thinking late July (I know it's hot,
but we can deal with it), and November.
