DON'T FORGET NEXT WEEKEND - LOCH RUADH'S FIRST ANNUAL LUGHNASAD WITH ARTS AND 
SCIENCE EVENTS! AUG. 11 - 13  AT THE CANTON FIRST MONDAY FAIR GROUNDS.  COME 
AND SHARE YOUR WONDROUS ARTS AND SCIENCES WITH US AT OUR CELEBRATION!  WIN 
WONDERFUL PRIZES AND THE PRAISE OF OUR POPULACE.

Prizes for the event were displayed at our populace meeting on August 2.  
Many appreciative oooohs and aaaahs were given.  The following is a list of 
prizes that will be available to those worthy artists who enter our event:

FOR THE YOUTH/CHILDRENS EVENT:
Bone boxes for each youth/child entrant
Scrolls which give the entrant's name and date of event for each entrant
1st childrens group - "The Medieval Castle" a three dimensional pop-up book
2nd childrens group- "Robin Hood" illustrated by Gregg Hildebrandt
Youth group-"The Book of the Dragontooth" an ancient manuscript on the secret 
history of the dragon and the unicorn.

FOR THE ADULT ARTS AND SCIENCE EVENT:
(these are in no particular order)
"Giotto - Architect of Color and Form" by Jacqueline and Maurice Guillaud.  
Giotto di Bondone, recognized as the founder of Renaissance art movement.
"The Renaissance - Masterpieces of Art and Architecture" by Susan Wright
"Icons - Art and Devotion" T. Talbot Rice.  Russian Icons of the 14th to 17th 
century
"The Renaissance Reader" by Kenneth J. Atchity.  Selections from famous 
writers, playrights, letters, diaries, essays, songs, poetry and art from the 
Reanaissance age
"Leonardo Da Vinci on the Human Body" Detailed sketchbook of Da Vinci's 
studies on the human body and form.

DON'T FORGET.  IF YOU DIDN'T MAKE IT TO PENSIC - COME CELEBRATE WITH US!  A 
FEAST IS INCLUDED WITH EACH SITE FEE!  WE WELCOME YOU.
