Kom heil Fellow Ansteorrans,
  I am proud to announce Lindenwoods first camping event.  We will be 
holding Meelees both Heavy and Light, Archery and Seige weapons, Inspection 
and Authorization for Gulf wars and just plain FUN.
  We invite all groups who have been practicing together to come fight as 
units against other units.  We will be having a Open Field, Wooded Ravine 
and a Siege.  Each Region will be able to General the army in each setting.
  If your group has been wanting to get fighters authorized, this is a good 
time to do it.
  The Site is Located in the Central part of the Kingdom, 5 minutes from the 
North entrance of DFW airport for easy access to the the entire Kingdom.
  Come fight, drink and Party with the Canton of Lindenwood.  Any questions

BORDER WARS
February 2-4, 2000 AS XXXIV

Come defend your borders against all other regions!!  Featuring Heavy and 
Light weapons melee, Archery and other siege engines.  Open field, woods, 
ravine, barrier, and bridge battles.

A myriad of dishes to be served all day Saturday.  Bring your own dish and 
showcase your cooking expertise.  Tea, coffee, hot chocolate, and cider will 
be available.  No feast will be served.   For the after-war revel, some of 
Almarr "Tea" will be offered.

Site Fee:  $7.00 and a dish for the potluck.  Children age 6-12 are $3.00 
and under 6 is free.  Family max is $20.00.  Make checks payable to: SCA, 
Inc./Canton of Lindenwood.

Minors must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.  They may also be 
attend with a 21-year or older adult with a signed and notarized Minor Event 
Waiver Form from the parents.  This form is available online at 
www.ansteorra.org.

Site is primitive.  Water will be made available, but you may want to bring 
your own anyway.

Site opens at 3:00 PM on Friday 2-2 and will close at 12 Noon on Sunday, 
2-4.  No pets.  Alcohol permitted in period containers only.

>From the north,
Coming down Interstate 35E exit Highway 121 and take that south through 
Lewisville.  Stay on 121 until right after Grapevine mills Mall and exit
Bass Pro Drive.  Turn right on Bass Pro (west) till it dead ends into  
highway 26, turn left.  Go to  Section 3

>From the south east,
Take I-35E North out of downtown Dallas to the 183 split, follow 183. Take 
183 west to the 114 split, take 114 to DFW airport north entrance.  As you 
near the airport watch for 121 North.  Take 121 north, here its kinda 
tricky, get in the 2nd lane and do not exit at 635 exit BASS PRO DRIVE. Come 
to stop light and turn left so you are now going west.  Take it till it dead 
ends into Highway 26.  Go to section 3

SECTION 3
Take Highway 26 down to (FAIRWAY) the 1st traffic light.  Turn right (the 
only way).  This takes you past the Lake HQ on the right and up and over the 
Dam.  Follow along and the road turns into Long Prairie road.  Take this 
north till you come to Heritage Ln, go west (Left).  Follow the road, it 
makes a right turn, and then take the first left, McPherson Ln.  Take 
McPherson up, it turns right then back left and the site is on the left a 
few hundred feet.
