I had the pleasure of seeing the glow on people's faces this last week at 
gulf wars after they had received a scroll for participating in middle 
eastern activities either as a musician, a single dancer, or as a dance 
troupe.

One said that it was the first scroll they had received after 9 years in the 
SCA.

I want to thank all the scribes and illuminators who helped make this 
possible. There were 50+ scrolls and each one took no less than an hour to 
paint.
