The Shire of Middleford is proud to host the Coronation of

Their Royal Highnesses Partick Michael Gordonne and Julia de Montoya.

July 12-14, 2002

Site: Coryell County Activities Complex, 303 Complex Circle, Gatesville TX.
The site opens at 5pm Friday and closes at 3pm Sunday. Site is wet, please use
period containers.

King's Champion List: Armor inspection will begin at 8am Saturday morning. The
list will begin at 9am.  the list format will be single elimiation best two out
of three.

Feast: Feast will be prepared for 200. At last count there were about 45 feast
slots left.  If you are planning to eat feast please make your reservations as
soon as possible.  You may E-mail HL Talon of Blackoak at mharness at hot.rr.com
or use the feast reservation form on our website.  The Menu consists of:
breads, cheeses, mushrooms maderia soup, smoked pork roll in wine sauce, glazed
carrots, seasoned grilled fish, stuffed baked onions, green beans, salat of
cucumbers and onions, and fruit compote over pound cake. Dietary concerns

Merchants: There will be at lease 16 merchants, some from out of kingdom.
Anyone interested in merchanting, please contact the Merchant-Crat Baroness
Louise Mendelhale at cotton at n-link.com or use the merchant reservation form on
the webste.  Fee for merchanting is a donation to the Silent Auction.

Camping: There is pleanty of space left for camping. If you wish to camp,
please contact HL Talon of Blackoak at mharness at hot.rr.com or use the camping
reservation form on our website. No ground fires please.

Breakfast: Saturday 7am-9am, Sunday 8am-10am   HL Gilli will be preparing
breakfast at the low cost of $4 for Adults and $2 for Children.  Get it while
it lasts!

Volenteers: The need for volenteers is always great and events such as this
could not be run with out them. Anyone wishing to volenteer may sign up at the
event. High need areas are as follows: Kitchen (before and after feast),
Servers over the age of 16, Waterbearers during the list Saturday and for
Practice on Sunday, Security, Troll, and Clean up.  Anyone wishing to Volenteer
for something specific in advance may e-mail Lady Emma Dandelion at

Silent Auction: Mistress Hillary Greenslade will be running a Silent Auction on
Saturday to benefit the Gulf Wars Gate Fund. Auction will run from 10am till
4pm.

Children's Activites: Children's Activities will run from 12:30-3:30, during
the Stepping down and Stepping up. Several wonderful activities for children
age 5 and up have been planned by Lady Eleanor d'Eresbey.

Charter Painting: Mistress Curstaidh Magorlick will be hosting charter painting
from 8am-5pm. There will be plenty of paints and charters available to anyone
who is interested.

Heraldic Consultation Table: Full service consultation to register names and
devices will be open from 10am-3pm.

Heraldic Banner Competition: Sponsered by the College of Heralds. Banners being
hung for the competition begins at 8am.  The judging time is to be determined.

Erasmus's Vigil: He will be sitting vigil from 8am-12pm on Saturday morning.

Seneschal's Class: Held from 10am-12pm by Mistress Clarissa di Firenze.

Sunday Fighter Practice/Fight-the-Knight: Chivalric and Rapier fighters are
invited to have open fighter practice beginning at 9am until 1pm. There is
plenty of space out of the sun and rain so stay and fight for the pleasure of
our new King and Queen.

Animals: Service animals only. Must provide proof of rabies vaccination in
writing. Tags not sufficent.
