	Greeting to all Good Gentles Upon this List,

	Pendaran and Jehanne, by grace of Royal decree, Baron and Baroness
of Bryn Gwlad send this, our invitation to all artisans and performers to
come to our Candlemas celebration and compete in our annual Bryn Gwlad
Artisan and Bard of Bryn Gwlad competitions.

	A year has passed and the time has come for our current artisan,
Mistress Clarissa di Firenze, and our titled bard, Lord Stephen MacThomas to
lay aside their duties and seek successors to their lofty positions. These
fine and talented gentles have served us well in the past year and we do
thank them for their grace and inspiration, and we look forward to see who
will step into these storied roles.

	As you may know, the pre-Gulf War A&S competitions are also to be
held at Candlemas. In order to keep things as simple as possible, the Bryn
Gwlad competitions shall be held at the same time and place as the Gulf War
competitions. An artisan or performer can compete in either or both of the
competitions. Indeed, if one is truly versatile, one can compete in all four
competitions! (Gulf War static & performing and Bryn Gwlad static &
performing.)

	Entrants who wish to compete in the Bryn Gwlad artisan competition
are encouraged to pre-register with HL Aerin MacConnacher
(jvarner at austin.rr.com). Also please note that documentation is required.
Documentation is encouraged but not required for entrants in the Bard of
Bryn Gwlad competition.

	The Gulf War judging sheets will be used in all of the A&S
competitions to be held at this event.
