[Stargate] Last night's Populace Meeting

Greetings to one and all,

I would like to express my deep appreciation and thank you to
those who attended populace Monday.  I was truly astonished at
the number present (40-45, compared to less than 20 last month).
It was a wonderful (and up-lifting) feeling to see faces we've not
seen at populace before and those we haven't seen for quite some
time.  Let's keep it going.

As I stated Monday we'll meet at the same location in August
then decide after that whether to continue at this location.
I know the room was a bit tight but we feel that can be alleviated
by the rearrangement of the tables.  Please don't that let this
keep anyone from joining us.  As requested, I'm interested in
hearing your feedback.  Email me your thoughts about the location,
privately if you wish.  We want to make attending populace as
painless (and convenient) as possible to assure your attendance
each month.  And, it doesn't hurt to have the prospect of good
food - big grin.  Also keep in mind that we are still on the
lookout for a more permanent location in the general area of
Golden Corral.  This location should be viewed as a quick, easy
and temporary solution.  Therefore, I would still encourage you to
keep you ears and eyes opened for other possibilities and email or
call me with those suggestions.

Again, a heartfelt thank you to all of you for supporting
Ansteorra's oldest and best barony.  Vivat Stargate, Vivat her
populace.  See you next month.
