[Stargate] Populace & Summer Thing

Greetings unto Stargate from its Seneschal,

As previously posted because of expense cut backs by the City of
Houston all libraries will close at 8:00 p.m. starting July 1st;
meaning Stargate's populace meetings have been displaced.

In an effort to find a location relatively convenient and easily
accessable to all, we are going try meeting at the Golden Corral
meeting room located on 290 @ Hollister for the months of July and
August.  Depending on how this location works we may continue
meeting here.  The location is free and we don't have to go far
for dinner afterwards <big grin>.  In the meantime, I would still
encourage you to be looking for or thinking about alternative
locations should this not prove a workable location.

Also previously posted was a request for bids for Summer Thing.
I've had a couple of nibbles but no actual "bites".  Time is
growing short and we need to get busy.  Contact me via email or by
phone if you'd like to submit a bid.

Lastly, again please make an effort to attend populace.  I know
summers are a time of fun but one night a month is not to much to
give up.  We need everyone's help and support to make our Barony
stay strong and prosper.
