For large PDF files, I also have a problem just clicking on the link and waiting for it to open,
till someone posted a shortcut. As the link is attempting to open the PDF file from a webfile on
someone's server, the data is slow to transfer to my screen, and I don't get all the pages to open
up. However, I can download the PDF file to my harddrive, then open it from my PC directly. I
don't have a delay this way, and I am able to open all the pages - which didn't often work by just
clicking on the link.

To copy the PDF file down to harddrive, without opening it first:
* Right click on the link.
* Select 'Save Target As...'
* a browser page will open to let you select where you want to download the PDF file.
* Once the file is downloaded, you can then open it directly, or use your explorer to go to the
folder to open the file.

Once you are done reading, if you don't want to keep the document, then just delete it.
I've had problems opening the large Award Text and Order of Precidence PDF files off the Heralds
list using the weblink, but this process works everytime.

Good luck, Hillary
