[Stargate] Stargate's official date

Greetings Unto the Populace,
First, my apologies for being so tardy getting to this. In March I was
recovering from my breast cancer surgery and put this on the back burner
where it almost got away from me. But now I've resurrected it, I have the
answer to this burning question.

In Volume 1, Issue 6 which is a 1977 issue of the Two Towers on the second
page is "The Ballad of The Barony of The Stargate". In the introductory
paragraph it says:

"On October 1, 1972, the Barony of the Stargate was officially started."
(This is also the date shown in the interactive OP on the Kingdom server.)

The paragraph goes on to talk about the ballad written by Mistress Dierdre,
Lady Cleric "shortly after the event." Then it goes into the Ballad.

So it would appear that we have our upcoming 35th birthday in October.

The Ballad might be a "good thing" to be read or performed in Court as part
of the festivities. Until then, I remain...
