I knew Jehana Wyverna very well. She does not play any more, and hasn't in a very long time. I believe she would be very happy to have anything she wrote published. 

Yes, the Astral Clarion was opened by Gladwen and William of Wallingford. I think I am one of the few still around who holds membership in both the Order of the Astral Clarion and the Order of the Misty Star. I think the OMS was opened by Baron Stargate (Myrddhin). If not Myrddhin, then it was opened by Tarl and Arlene. I received my OMS from Tarl and Arlene. 

BTW, I realized a few months ago that 2008 was my thirtieth year in the SCA. Where did all that time go?

When I read the Ansteorra List and saw her name, It made me smile. If this  
is the same lady I remember by that name.she taught me to sew Tudor garmets 
for men..LOL. I don't believe I have even heard about her in the last 15 
yearsor  more though. Sorry I couldn't be more help. Knowing her though, I am 
sure she  would absolutely love to have herself be published. She loved 
teaching,  especially newcomers.

I see from the OP that the last award she received was the Order of  the 
Astral Clarion, in 1982.    There are two ancient  orders of Stargate:  The 
Misty Star and the Astral Clarion. 
The Astral Clarion is the order that I believe Gladwen and William  opened 
when they sat the baronial thrown, and it was closed after  them.  

For grins, in case they have kept in touch with this lady, I've  also sent 
a post to Gladwen and Bran de Tintrek, both who've played  since that day.

I am trying to get in touch with Jehana Wyverna.  She was  the Historian
of Stargate in the early 1980s.  I have found  some articles written by her
in the files and would like to see if  I can get permission from her to use
them on the Web site.  If  anyone knows how to get in touch with her please
let me  know.
