[Stargate] Stargate Digest, Vol 43, Issue 6

     I agree with Monalee's request, that we SCAers gather a team for next
year's walk to raise funds for Diabetes.  Participants could wear garb,
maybe carry a small SCA banner and carry SCA business cards to give out to
interested fellow (non SCA) walkers and spectators.

     We should take every opportunity to do public service, for the greater
good of all.  And while we are serving our communities, we can make them
aware of just what the SCA is and maybe garner interested persons to enlarge
the populaces of our kingdoms.

Since it looks like the Diabetes Walk we discussed at the last populace
meeting will be taking place the Sat. of BAM, I propose we try again for a
team next year.
