[Stargate] Baronial Improvements

Greetings all,
We had a good turn out at Stargate Populace on Monday, and we took a poll
from all those assembled on the baronial improvement ideas that were
proposed.  I have listed below the ideas that generated the greatest
interest as a result of the support shown.  These are the areas of
improvement we will begin to work on first.

1. More social activities (SCA and non-SCA related) [General Fun]
Anyone interested in forming a little social committee to organize
activities, please contact me.

2. Stargate Hospitality [Baronial Identity]
Baron Ihon has already initiated an effort on this topic, spearheading a
hospitality pavilion for Bordermarch Autumn Melees.  Anyone interested in
working on this should contact him.

3. Update Domesday & Phone Tree [Communications]
Anyone interested in assisting with creating a new Domesday and Phone Tree,
please contact me.

4. Bookmarks [Recruitment]
Mistress Annes has begin putting some ideas together for this topic.  Anyone
interested in assisting should contact her.

5. Annual Participation Raffle [Retention]
Anyone interested in assisting with working on the Annual Participation
Raffle, please contact me.

6. Belt Favors [Baronial Identity]
Anyone interested in working on this project team, please contact me.

7. SUMMER: Indoor Project Meetings (off season prep)
This idea is something we'll plan to address in mid-late spring 2010.

Once I have received word from people interested in working on the various
topics, I'll get in touch with those groups and help them establish a
project team with a team leader, and assist them with a kick-off meeting.
After that, Their Excellencies and I will assist as advisors and grant any
necessary approvals required.  The financial committee will be required to
approve spending for these projects, so project teams will be required to
submit estimates for materials if necessary.
