Hi all,

I got a call from this gentleman and I said I would send his info
along to any artists I knew. He says he is willing to pay for any
artwork done. Also, he is interested in maybe working with the SCA to
use this as a site.

What do you think?

Dear Monalee
  Wessex Hall is the special event facility being developed in the
building formerly known as the Farris Hotel. It is located in Eagle
Lake about halfway between Sealy  and Columbus. The The building was
built as a hotel 100 years ago. There are about 10,000 sq feet of
indoor space and about one acre of grounds.

  The name Wessex is taken from the Kingdom of Wessex, the Saxon
kingdom that later became England.
 We need creative people to do a variety of things including outdoor
signs, off premises signs, tapestries etc... to recreate the culture
of medieval England.
  Later we will obviously be developing events covering various
historical periods of the British Isles.

 Please let me know of anyone who might be interested in this project.
Perhaps some folks in your organization could come visit the place
sometime soon.
