Steppes Fall Court
November 19 - 21, 1999
Prophets of Doom have long foretold that our world would end in November
of 1599. As that time approaches, come join with us at Steppes Fall Court
for a weekend of revelry and tests of skill. Enter tournaments to fight
off impending doom; demonstrate your skills to prove you are worthy of
evading Death; share with us in the Last Supper, enlivened by a themed
bardic competition and festivities until the stroke of midnight, when we
anticipate the world's end.
The site is Tyler State Park, and has camping with showers and, screened
shelters (by reservation only, for an additional charge). The park is
discreetly wet, period containers only, please. Site opens at 5.00 pm on
Friday, and closes 2.00 pm on Sunday. Feast will be served to the first 80
reservations.
Feast will be $3/person, and have meats (including chicken and pork),
breads with cheese and butter, other side dishes, and fruit in season.
Please send reservations to me (elinthetimid at hotmail.com). Table
decorations are welcome to provide an atmosphere of warmth and fellowship.
