ST - RE: River Legacy Park in Arlington

Hi there, this is Vix aka Isolde von Rugen.

I know that technically Dux and I are in Arlington which makes us in
Elfsea.  Despite that we play with Steppes.  There is a fantastic park
over here called River Legacy Park.  I was wondering why we or Elfsea
for that matter hasn't used it as a day event site.  I understand that
the park doesn't allow for camping. But, this place would be great for a
day event. The pavilions at the park are stone and wood structures that
even look medieval. There are a number of open flat areas that could be
used for any number of activities and nice bathrooms.

Anyone have any information on this or what history the SCA has had with
the park in the past?

I also got the Arlington Parks Department phone number and address, I
was thinking about looking into costs and use requirements for the park.
So that if we wanted to we would at least have somewhere to start from,
if we are interested.
