I saw the steppes webpage and I'd like to know more about the SCA activities
in cental texas.  

While not exactly a newcomer to the SCA, I am a newcomer to the Kingdom of
Ansteorra.  My name is Lord Dominic D'Medici and I am recently immigrated
from the Grand Kingdom of An Tir.  I unfortunately had to leave all of my
garb behind and am now faced with the daunting task of rebuilding my
wardrobe with absolutely no sewing skills.

Do you know of any semi-accomplished seamstress that I may contact who may
be willing to accept a commission of some kind?  When it comes to sewing I
am all thumbs.

Also, are your business meetings and populace meetings usually conducted in
period or modern garb?
