Unto the populace of the Steppes and its Cantons, greetings from Fritz
and Catrin-

We want to tell all of you who attended Elfsea Springfaire this past
weekend, what a happy time we had being with you all. It was so much
fun hanging out under The Big Top with all of you, enjoying the
camaraderie of our fne citizens and the amazing hospitality of Lady
Mereddud, assisted by Lady Katherine (and everyone else who offered up
the contents of their coolers!) We hope that everyone else liked having
such fine fare to eat and drink as a group; we would like to do that
sort of thing as a rule... tell us what you think...
Our hearty congratulations go out to Patric de LongCoeur, who won the
Mead portion of the Brewing Contest at Springfair, and to Lady Lavina
and Ld. Sean O'Nolan, who showed to good advantage in the Novice A&S
Competition. Everyone keep up the good work!
We also wnat to extend our warm appreciation to everyone who helped us
set up, and most importantly, tear down, our little baronial "camp",
especially when His Excellency was injured. You guys make us very
proud. A SPECIAL thank you to Patric and Aimee' who drove Fritz home
(well past their own road home) in the late hours. The Steppes is a
place where honor and chivalry are truly alive.
We bid a fond Farewell and Godspeed to Damasque du Bier and her husband
David, and know that the spirit of the Steppes will go with our newest
member of the Order of the Acorn.
After such a fine day at Springfaire, we are charged up and ready for
Warlord. We will likely not be able to spend as much time with you at
our little tourney as we did yesterday, but we know that you will all do
your best to make the Steppes look as good as hosts as you made us look
as guests (and we thank you for that)! Vivat Steppes!

In service
Lord and Lady Steppes
