ST - Rumors? Let's put them to bed.

I've heard a couple of disturbing rumors that I'd like to put to bed as soon 
as possible - these sorts of things always just get uglier if they aren't 
confronted.

The first rumor is that heavy fighters are unwilling to work with archers in 
Steppes.  To my knowledge, no heavy fighters have been asked to go work with 
any archers at any practice.  Moreover, I am well aware that IronWyrm is 
working on getting clearance to do combat archery at Flagpole Hill so that 
combat archers and heavy fighters can practice together.  The heavy fighters 
that I know are eagerly awaiting this development, and have been since it 
was first announced three or four months ago.

The second rumor is that heavy fighters snub archers, don't much care for 
them, and consider them second class citizens.  No heavy fighter that I know 
has this opinion of archers.  If there are heavy fighters with this kind of 
opinion, they don't voice it in my hearing.  I like archers very much - they 
are an outstanding force multiplier that any commander would be an idiot to 
snub.  The Fray has two archers who fight with us currently, and we are 
actively recruiting for more.

Hopefully, this will help put to bed any further developments of these 
rumors.  If you hear any rumor of this sort, please pass on the contents of 
this post, in whole or in part - hurtful rumors of this kind only hurt all 
of us.
