Thanks for the update, lady. On a couple of notes:

We don't need permission to use the park. It is public access, and our
activity doesn't need any permits. Asking permission implies that we think
we may have permission denied, which leads folks to think that maybe there's
something wrong or unsafe about what we do. We have a right to use public
parks - they belong to us.

Similar note for police. Police will see us, people will see us. There
have been funny incidents in the hoary past, but in general the police know
about us now. The local police have stopped at the park during Wednesday's
practice and talked to the participants, and are aware that this is a
recreational activity.

For the other concerns - I would recommend taking a look at the park. We
don't need the pavilion, though it would be nice to have (or at least part
of it). If we generally can't get the pavilion, we can put up shade flys.

If we are at a park that is well-maintained, we will always find that it is
also well used. In order to have good bathrooms, we need a well-maintained
park. Therefore, we will either put up with poor maintenance, or with more
people. Besides, I thought some of us *wanted* more opportunities for
Hospitaling?

I will go by the park this Sunday, prior to heading over to the joint
practice at the Hill, to get a better feel for how busy the park is on
Sundays.

If well-maintained parks really *are* too crowded to use, perhaps we could
move practice to a weeknight. That would also alleviate the problem of
folks going to events and not being able to attend. And for the
travel-ready, that would give us all Sunday practice at Randol Mill in
Elfsea, and a weeknight practice somewhere in Steppes, as well as Duncan's
practice during the week.

Anyway, thanks for the input. It's really appreciated.
