ST - Fw: Steppes - SCA

I would normally be happy to do so mi'lady as an archer but I will be at a
Scout Council meeting that I am required to attend on behalf of my district.
Although many are probably occupied with mundane life- may I suggest that it
be discussed at sometime in the future that a group of  people be
specifically available to go to such gatherings for demos?  There are
hundreds of these blue and gold banquets across the metroplex and if offered
many would gladly accept such demos.  I guarantee the food to be at least
so-so and often great at these kinds of banquets and the kids and the
parents most appreciative.  I have recruited several new participants from
the ranks of scouting to House Arkham's ranks.    With 50000 plus kids and
adults enrolled in Scouting in Dallas and surrounding area and growing all
the time it is a resource for growth of the dream that should not be
ignored.
