[Steppes] Ride to Melees

        Good Gentles,

        A friend of mine's girlfriend needs a ride to Autumn Melees. If
there is anyone going that way who has room for a teenage girl and one
bag, it would be most appreciated. I need to find out ASAP, so that
parents can meet you and decide whether or not to trust their baby girl
to your care.
        The family lives in Springtown (west of Ft. Worth, I think), but
will be glad to meet you wherever it is convenient. Any replies or
