ST - Newcomer's Revel

Hello everyone!

On April 20, 2001 at 7:30 p.m., the Barony of the Steppes will be hosting a
"Newcomers Revel" at the home of our Baron and Baroness, Master Fritz der
Rothirsh and Lady Catrin Brynmorgan, located at 4609 Swiss Avenue, Dallas,
Texas 75204.  This will be a great opportunity for our Barony to "roll out
the welcome mat" for several folks who have shown interested in joining the
SCA!

For the "old-timers" who may attend, please be advised that the Revel is a
"good ole fashioned pot luck dinner" - in other words, bring the 'chitlins*
and come on down!  We would appreciate an RSVP from both old-timers and an
approximate number of guests so that we may adequately plan for your visit.

Also, we're looking for a coordinator for this low key "it runs itself"
*event*.  It would be a really good chance to learn event stewarding!  If
you're interested, please respond to me at the address below as Their
Excellencies will be at Gulf War.
