Your Highness,

I will respectfully remind you that what is being asked of this group is
to change 20+ years of tradition and to leave a place that many people
have fond memories of and has served us well over this long period of
time.

It may well be in the Steppes best interest to make this change after all
these years, but that decision must come after careful consideration of
all concerns. That consideration will also include "pontificating" by
various parties on both sides as well as much deliberate and reasoned
debate.

The pace may seem too slow for you, and the answer obvious, but in the end
the Steppes will reach the decision that best meets the needs of its people
as a whole and that is what is truly important.

Regards,
Thorkel
