[Steppes] The voodoo ducks apologize !

To all who attended Steppes Warlord,

The High Priest of the Order of the Voodoo ducks, Qvack Vadis, extends his
apologies for their leaving Sunday night just after the bardic competition.
After arriving early Saturday afternoon, the skywater gods were appeased and
kept their bounty in the heavens until after the woad-painted ducks had left
on Sunday night.  The news was that the skywater gods let loose their bounty
shortly thereafter, and for this the mystical qvackkers humbly apologize for
leaving when they did.  They are looking for other brethren to join their
order, so if you know any ducks out there that wouldn't mind being painted
with woad, please enlist them for next year's Steppes Warlord!  :D

  They would also like to mention that Sunday evening court, at which they
were present in their traveling pond, was one of the most enjoyable they had
attended in a long time and would like to say "Danke".
