"Arcus" is one word for bow; however, some related
terms, such as
archer and arrow, are represented by "sagittarius".
Perhaps a
clearer way to state it would be
     gladio vivere, sagittarius morti
or
     live (or life) [by the] sword, die (or death) [by
the]
---The problem with this one is the Latin needs to be
conjugated. Sagittarius is the nominative or first
person case. 'by the archer' is another case which
tarnslates as sagittario. same for the comment below.
Arcus is the nominative case. Arco is the ablative
case. Morti is also a noun , not the verb . Mori is
conjugated as "to Die", just as vivere translates as
'to live'. Mori is an irregular verb that changes form
for the personal conjugations.  Mores is the plural
nominative of the word for customs/manners.

Of course you can use whichever sounds pleasing to the
ear. Most people won't know the difference anyway.
