Greetings from Viscountess Katherine, your new Arts & Sciences Championof the Wastelands,

I just can't put into words what an honor this is for me. I don't know what the responsibilities involved with this austere title are, but I will do everything in my power to live up to the reputations of your former champions. This is the very first time I have ever held a title like this on my own skill. Thank you so much.

I want to thank those who allowed me to be Marshal-in-Charge of the torchlight tourney. Marshaling is my favorite thing to do. I want to thank all of the marshals who assisted me during the tourney; you were great. I also want to thank the fighters for their most chivalric, courteous and gracious behavior on and off the field.

I want to thank the ladies who were so attentive at my herbal class. As you well know, I love herbals and teaching them. I hope to return soon and have a whole new plethora of information for you and possibly even some hands-on work sessions making salves, emulsions, tinctures, poultices, syrups and teas. As your new A&S Champion, I am hoping to come to your Shire at least twice during the coming year. I will also be sending to you craft and art information via your electronic list. Thank you again!

My Lord and I are looking forward to returning to the Wastelands as soon as we possibly can.
