[Steppes] Game question/12th night

I intend to set up to play Leacas with some of the
newcomers at 12th night. The game is played with dice
and some flat stones/pebbles. Normally you would throw
money into the 'pot' before you took your throw of the
dice. If I bring pennies to play this game with; will
anyone construe that as illegal gambling ?  I know
that sounds silly to some people but I'd rather ask
first.
