The most amazing thing about Artisan was the diversity and
quality of the displays. Julianna had the most breathtaking
window...one of which, her master work, was the "Lamb of God",
where the documentation was flawless!! Ask her about how she
got a picture and information about the original window from a
museum in Germany...it's priceless.

Another gentleman had block prints that were spectacular. He
even had one of the "Lamb of God", so it was very interesting to
see the same thing in a different medium.

Ameline DuBois had a very unique laurel's wreath, made with
copper foil leaves that was a replica of one displayed right now
at the Dallas Museum of Art.

The Meads and Ales and Wines from Dragonsfire Tor were the best
I've tasted in a long time! Special note about the one with the
pear...very tasty.

I saw some beautiful leg armour that had very impressive perfect
creases...and every heavy fighter in the room kept coming over
to caress them lovingly...

There was period pralines, apple candy, some amazing costuming,
and some of the purest colors from natural dyes that I've seen
in a long time.

All in all, this was the best Artisan that I have been to in a
great while! We really impressed the Laurels from Trimaris, who
I'm sure will be gearing up about now to inform their Kingdom
that they better be prepared for Ansteorra to sweep the A&S
Competitions again at Gulf War!

Well done everyone, we are all so very proud!
