Greetings unto all newcomers from Honorable Lady Gabrielle Honorée de Saint
Pierre, Hospitaler to the Barony of the Steppes, officer in charge of
newcomer welcome and orientation.

For those of you who are new, or for those of you who have been in for a
couple of years, but still have unanswered questions, you are invited to
attend the SCA 101 Class, this Wednesday, June 12th, in Carrollton. The
class will take place at the home of Lord Jon Rolfsson and Honorable Lady
Gabrielle Honorée de Saint Pierre.

You will learn:
• how to research Persona and Names
• how to “blend in” at meetings
• costuming ideas
• how to recognize insignia and “hats”
• how to use appropriate titles
• how it all got started nearly 40 years ago!
and much more!

Newcomer packets will be available AT THE MEETING ONLY.  This is to provide
appropriate feedback, citing preceding examples/experiences and Q&A.  Other
printed materials will be on hand to look through.

Some refreshments will be available and any offerings of munchies to be
shared are always welcome.  If you plan to attend, please reply to this
