(General information for cooks and eaters with a taste for the foreign as to a
source for items that might be hard to find otherwise:)

Gentles,
I just now stumbled upon a two-week-old shop at Preston and Beltline (SE
corner in freestanding bldg in front of SteinMart). Clean and well-lit, it's
called
Shine's Mediterranean Market, lists itself as a grocery and deli.

Lots of good stuff. Friendly staff-a young man whose parents are from Istanbul
(Constantinople, to SCAians!), but he was born in Argentina, and a woman, the
cook?, who is from Afganistan.
Storemade: The kibbe (football shaped spiced meatballs encased in a dough) is
super. Hummus. Tahini. Baklava. Turkish Delight (Rayhaht Lokum). & more.
Dolmas (2 or 3 kinds) need a little more lemon juice.
There are large packages of spices and exotic herbs at more-than-reasonable
prices.
Sandwiches and non-alcoholic drinks, too.
Didn't have a lot of time to explore, so allow for that if you stop in. Like a
country store, in that there's a lot to look at.
Enjoy!
Yours in service, Lete Bithespring
