Greetings all,
Wow! What great conversation! I applaud you all, and am energized by the
healthy dialogue you have entered in to here...
I must make a small point in defense of Steppes, if only for the benefit of
those newer folks frightened to death by that old sot Petrucchio's ragings....:
D

Fall Court is not a monster. It is a fluffy, yellow, downy chick of an event.
(not on the Kingdom calendar, either, by the way) It is perfect for new
stewards and cooks to cut their teeth on. It was meant to be such, and as long
as I have any say in the matter, it will remain so. It is also meant to be a
cauldron of new ideas, themes, and ways to play. It is immensely valuable as
such. Because, that miniscule faux pas aside, Petrucchio has made some
extremely salient points. "Change is good. Adapt or die. Survival of the
fittest. Familiarity breeds contempt." Proverbs become such for a reason.
Oh, and Pat? I am very old and have a few esoteric tastes of my own, besides
"Funkmaster 5"......>: P

Catrin.
