It's actually marked at 8.99 a yard or some such, but if you sign up for the
news letter you get 30% off that price.  The burgundy is still there, but I
got the deep blue.  :)  And there's also black and a brown that I found
pretty unappealing.

The Hancock's on Midway in Carrollton has a cotton
velveteen in true burgundy. It's been marked down to
$8 a yard. I know that's not that cheap but this is a
deep pile and a nice medium dark colour.  If I were a
burgundy person I'd buy it myself. Its in the back
among the "crushed velvets" but its the only one so I
suspect its an accident.
