I was driving to Louisiana via I-20 this past weekend.  As far as I remember, there was no construction to speak of.  However, this was at 10pm on a Friday.  I don't recall any construction on the return visit either.....

But, come to think of it, there was construction from 360 (Arlington) to South Dallas on 20.  Is this the section your talking about?
