[Steppes] real sinew anyone?

I've just finished an old native american flatbow I'm
preparing for a native american friend as a gift.
Problem is I can't find any real sinew to back the bow
with. Anyone have some or know a place locally I can
find some? Only thing I can find is the fake sinew at
Tandy/TLF. Thanks
