[Steppes] Covenant School Demo

Greetings good gentles of the Steppes!

Our demo at Covenant School was a rousing success! We had people at four of
their stations, Weaving, Herbalist, Calligraphy and Illumination, and
Archery. Approximately 250 children and at least 50 parents and staff
learned about each of these things from our participants. There were several
people who asked for brochures and everyone seemd to enjoy themselves.

We were treated to a delicious feast and continental breakfast was
available, too. The weather was perfect, if a bit windy for the
Calligraphers and Illuminators. The breeze kept the temperature nice for the
rest of us.

My thanks to Lady Gudrun Sveasdottir, HL Suzanna the Herbalist, Iaian,
Francesca, Ulrich of Carolinga, and HL Lete Blithespring for their help.

Covenant does a medieval history study every four years and I suspect that
we will be asked to come back in 2006.
