[Steppes] Plea for the SCA

  I was looking online for some info on Heraldry when I stumbled across some
old issues of the gazette and Ansteorran LOI online. I decided to check it
out, being curious. To my horror when I started reading, it was full of
insults and snide remarks, "Is this an axe or an oversize toothbrush", "The
blazon calls this a falcon but it looks more like an obese pigeon",remarks
in that vein. Imagine how someone barely months into the SCA would feel if
they stumbled across remarks like this about their device on google. We lose
more people this way than most of you imagine. The people we lose could have
been the best king we ever had, or the chirugeon who might have saved your
life one day. I would like to make a plea to anyone who puts their comments
in writing in any quasi-official capacity to do so in a civil manner.
