Technically correct, Borek.  However, many people are not familiar with the
term "fulling" (used to describe the process when applied to woven or
knitted fabric, usually), so we often use "felting" to cover it all, to the
general public, and the different terms when being technical amongst
ourselves.

"Wauking" is another term that is related to fulling, and when you hear of
a "wauking song" it means one that is often sung by the workers to help
keep their rhythmn and relieve boredom.
