[Steppes] Plea for the SCA

I am not going to address my disagreement with Timothy's and others remarks
that this type of comment is "okay" because it was never meant to be seen by
others.  My concerns are about the fact that these types of comments are
made at all.  We are a society based on honor, and education.  It disturbs
me that those making these derogatory and hurtful comments make them at all.
 To me it bodes ill for the Society in general that an important and
official branch of our society, even in private, while acting on behalf of
the Society, feel it is natural to speak so and feel so about their fellow
members.
