Gabrielle, when I went to the Managers' meeting last week, the maps very clearly have an SCA area marked out (across from the rock tent and next to the equestrians, yes outside but can move into the Cultural Area if needed).

I would guess that the Baronial Demo Coordinator, Iames, will have more information.

For those who want to get into the festival for free, in addition to helping in the SCA, you can work for NTIF! There are all kinds of jobs open, from gate (take tickets) to sales (info booth, performer products) to you-name-it. You can get details from volunteer at ntif.org or go to the NTIF website. Some jobs have closed (enough volunteers) and others have only certain times open.

Dates are March 1-2, 2003. The best thing about being a volunteer is that you get into the festival for FREE, and once your shift is over, there's music, food, music, cultural stuff, dancing, music, things to buy, and oh yeah music......

HIGH FLIGHT
by John Gillespie Magee, Jr.
Oh, I have slipped the surly bonds of earth,
And danced the skies on laughter-silvered wings;
Sunward I've climbed, and joined the tumbling mirth
Of sun-split clouds...and done a hundred things
You have not dreamed of...wheeled and soared and swung
High in the sunlit silence. Hov'ring there,
I've chased the shouting wind along, and flung
My eager craft through footless halls of air.
Up, up, the long, delirious burning blue
I've topped the windswept heights with easy grace
Where never lark, nor even eagle flew.
And while with silent, lifting mind I've trod
The high untrespassed sanctity of space...
 ...put out my hand, and touched the face of God.
