Much better, thank you!  I'm still coughing, but I think that will probably
hang on for a while.
Oh yes, sounds like an overabundance of water.  With only 3 inches of rain
at my house, I guess I could be considered lucky.
I am keeping my list I made for this year to use next year, with some
additions of course!  And I have bought a tent for myself and am making a
little alcohol cookstove out of, yes, cat food cans.  I will try it out
before I take it!

So, how do you feel now, dear Catarina? Hopefully, much better?

Been reading all the "War" stories about the rains? Perhaps having that
nasty bug saved you from an equally depressing experience in a flooded
creek! If you really want to (though I can't think why), you could always
wait until the next really bad set of rains come through, set up your tent
in your yard and tough it out there just for the hoot!

At least you have gained packing and unpacking experience and have probably
learned where and how you want to make changes. See? All was *not* lost!
