Many thanks to Catherine, Benny, Gerita, Galen and others for ground crew.
Also thanks to Alexis for setting up, tearing down and running the games.
Strings of pearls (in keeping with the theme) were given to all the
competitors .  The winner received an excellent prize
basket and scroll for herself and her consort. This was shared out with the
Allesandra for loan of Dance.
SCA Equestrian Marshals badges on silk were given in court to the Eq.
Marshals in attendance. Thanks to Guenhavre for the embroidery.

Allesandra Giovanni received  her  AoA. Among her contributions, her work in
Steppes Equestrian and her riding lessons to HRH Miguel and Conal
were noted.   Congratulations Lady Allesandra.

Two horses brought by newcomers were turned away from site for not having
Coggins Test papers.
Two horses were not checked into site due to inclement weather.
No authorizations. No injuries.
IKEqC and other competitions were cancelled on Sunday due to inclement
weather.
No running of the hounds because of inclement weather.
No  hawks for hawking  were brought on site.

Lancer Alexis la Bouche (KEO) called a general riders meeting.
Topics Discussed:
Southern Region Marshal -  up for a new person.
Kings Lancer bids - Elfsea Defender (late September in Canton) bid will
stand unopposed.
Kings Lancer tournament style - Double field (single elimination) was
preferred  by the riders.
Fall tournaments -  The fall schedule will have more titled competitions
since spring had few.
Northern Region - none in attendance .
Status of Mounted Combat - not delivered to the Board of Directors.
Status of Jousting - in experimentation with  foam and cardboard equipment.
An equipment trial
was held on site.  No person to person jousting at events, only at
practices.
Status of proposal for separate SCA Marshal for Equestrian and other animal
related games - not delivered to Board.
Current SCA Marshal - is not presenting information to the Board in a timely
fashion. Is not responding to the KEOs in a timely fashion.
Current SCA Insurance for equestrian - special premium for equestrian is
cost prohibitive for equestrian activities. Is the special certificate
really required by the insurance company? Why is it so expensive? Who is
covered? These questions need to be answered. What is the real cost of
including equestrian in the U.S. insurance.
Period Documentation for Dressage Carousel and Movements: Collected by
Bridget and brought for perusal. Material dated before 1600. No electronic
data due to hardware failure.  Lady Bridgette will host a class at Kings
College.
