When I said, "See you at FlagPole Hill" earlier I forgot that our canton of
Lindenwood has an event this weekend, Border Wars.  We of course want to
fully support that event.  As well, the weather looks good, and there is
another Central Regional War practice scheduled for Sunday.  All of the area
Sunday practices are cancelled to support this practice, and so I'd like to
encourage everyone to get back out (if you didn't stay on Saturday night) to
the site for Central Regional War practice on Sunday.

Duke Jonathan and myself are very sad to hear the news about Viscountess
Kate. She was a  wonderful woman and her lost is a great tragedy for
Ansteorra and the SCA.

I just had a heart bypass, but still plan to go to gulfwar.  I am seeking
someone interested in going, but who is maybe having a bit of trouble
getting it all together.  In exchange for helping me load and set up my
stuff at each end, I can offer a ride to and from the war, assistance with
site fees, and the loan of some equipment if needed. I could probably take 2
people, but don't think I can manage both site fees.
