I can fight in either or both demos as well. I'd enjoy doing both.

I have heard from ConDFW and we have not one, but two demos, at the
convention Saturday. And for our friends in Elfsea, and anyone else who
hasn't heard about this yet, here are all the details...

ConDFW is a literary speculative (F&SF) fiction convention being held at the
Radisson Hotel at North Central Expressway and Campbell in Richardson from
Feb 21 to 23. For more information on the con itself, see the website:

www.condfw.org

Our demos will consist of Heavy Weapons and Rapier combat. This is our
first demo for this group, and only their second con, so I want to keep it
simple, if we want to think about a table with arts and sciences we can try
for it next year. If someone from the hospitler's office could be there
with flyers, I would be grateful.

We have two one hour blocks: 11AM to Noon, and 4PM to 5PM. All
participants in the demo will be comped with free admission to the con for
Saturday, and there are several restaurants in the area for lunch, so come
and enjoy the day.

The weather forecast for Saturday is still partly cloudy with temperatures
in the high 50's, so we will be setting up and fighting on the lawn behind
the hotel beside the swimming pool. It's not large, but it is good ground.

Identify yourself to someone in con ops as a member of the SCA for your
membership, and if there are any questions find me or ask for Shirley Soto
or Stephanie Folse.

If you plan to participate, please drop me a line - it's not necessary, but
I would like to have a rough estimate of numbers. So, come, fight, have a
good time. See you all there...
