As the regional war commander, I am very much in favor of a Steppes war
company.  The first event of the melee season is Gothic War.  (see
http://www.geocities.com/crossrodekeep/GothicWarXII/  )  If you are
interested in fighting in a war, or just seeing what it would be like, that
would be a great event to attend.
